ਪਿਆਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਓ,
ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਅਕ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਇਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਕਰਤੱਵ ਵੀ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ, ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸੇਧ ਦੇ ਸਕਾਂ। ਸੰਸਥਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਟਾਫ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਅਵਸਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਵਾ ਸਕੀਏ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਟੀਮ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਸਿਰਜਣ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਖੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਜਿਹੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਬਹੁਪੱਖੀ ਪਹਿਲੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਫੁੱਲਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਖਸ਼ੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਵਿਵਹਾਰਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਵਸਾਇਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।

About the College
Bebe Nanki University College, Mithra (also known as Bebe Nanaki G.N.D.U College Mithra or Mithra College) is one of the constituent colleges established with the collective efforts of the UGC, Punjab Government and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar It aims to providing quality education to students of the rural Kapurthala District.
The aim of this college is to provide the quality education to the downtrodden, weak and poor that are deprived of higher education due to poor financial conditions. In this way it aims at linking these people to the national mainstream and making them active participants in the social, political and academic development of the country.
The constituent colleges were set up to bring higher education within the reach of the people of remote rural areas, so that maximum benefit reaches the less privileged and the needy. The college will scale new heights under the able guidance of Dr. Karamjeet Singh, the present Vice-Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University.
The College is covered under the 2(F) & 12(B) scheme of the UGC. As a result, it is entitled to receive financial support from the Central government, the government of Punjab and the UGC. The teaching fraternity of college is highly qualified and dedicated who constantly strive for their growth as well as for the holistic development of their students.
